Looking for some advice from experienced PC gamers, is this a good deal?
Hi there, just testing the waters for interest in a unique little SFF PC. I built this as an all AMD 'Steam Machine' ready to take Steam OS and operate as a very powerful and small living room games console.
Spec is:
AMD 7500F
Corsair 32gb DDR5 6000mhz ram
MSI B650I MPG WIFI motherboard
Sabrent Rocket 1tb NVME drive.
Asus 9070XT Prime OC graphics card
Thermalright Mini Assassin cooler (still a full size cooler, just 130mm tall so it fits in a compact case)
Custom printed Modcase Evo case
Triple RGB fans for intake and exhaust
It presently just has windows on it and operates fine like that so is perfectly capable of being a stand alone games PC, with enough graphical shove to play anything. The CPU is deliberately weakish (although a 7500F is still very good as a 6 core CPU) as the PC is intended to push a 4k living room TV, not high FPS. Slipping a 7800/9800X3D into it would make this about the most powerful presently buildable AMD gaming PC in a footprint not much larger than a loaf of Hovis!
Asking is £1000, which considering the ram, storage and graphics card are about 900 quid on their own at the moment is a steal, so I'm not particularly interested in offers. Cheers.
