So it's been years since I've built PCs so I'm slightly out of the loop. I've been researching for quite a while though to get myself backup to speed. I've got my PC components chosen and ready to order. My question and concern is; it seems most chassis' don't come with space for an optical drive. so if I have no optical drive and no laptop or another computer to mount the windows file to a USB drive to install windows on this new build, what do y'all think I should do ? What's your advice? I thought about getting an external DVD drive to install windows on and to use whenever I rarely need to use an optical drive for something but will the pc recognize the external drive to freshly install windows on a brand new pc? What do you guys do these days ?
Thanks - Nick
