Needing advice on possibilly upgrading gpu.

Hi im looking for some advice please, im thinking of upgrading the gpu, is this possible? And would it make a huge difference?
Its an old system but adequate for the games i play(fm23 and dayz). i know reletavly little about hardware, so realise it might not be as easy as just buying a new gpu card.

Some questions to gather more info:

• What power supply do you have and how old is it? Make and model would be ideal.
• Have you monitored your hardware utilization while playing games? You can use on-screen overlays through programs like MSI Afterburner or you can just have Task Manager open while gaming and check the utilization percentages of CPU, GPU, RAM, and HDD.
• What's your performance goal? 1080p 60 fps maxed out? 1440p 60 fps? Higher refresh rates?
