my memory issue

my ram is Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL40... when check ram speed in windows that shows 4000 and when check in bios settings shows 4800... my issue is that when use xmp profile to adjust to 5600, system doesn't boot and the post safe mode appears on screen?! (cpu: Intel Core i5-14600KF and motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B760-PLUS).

Hi and welcome 🙂

If you check this page do you find the exact model number of the RAM kit you bought? It will be something like this: CMT32GX5M2X6400C38. Youll find it written on teh package somewhere and also one a label on the sticks themselves.

It sounds to me like your motherboard doesnt like some of the lower RAM timings of the kit you bought, which can occasionally happen if its not a kit on the QVL list for your motherboard.

I would suggest returning the kit and buying one that is listed on the page above.

Its existed for a while
Crucial have similar but its mostly for laptop upgrades.
My ram not on QVL but it works fine and Gskill tested it

Corsair don't appear to have done any B760 motherboards
They are slacking off, they only tested one set for my motherboard.
