Tech newbie here.

AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor
Radeon RX 580 Series
24 GB RAM
2TB HDD

Having a hard time running Halo Infinite in the open world, and i figured it's my CPU but not entirely sure. I'm interested in forking over a few hundred to upgrade to something better, any tips would be appreciated. :)

Your CPU is just shy of the minimum, so maybe. I'd be inclined to think it's your HDD before the CPU. Don't get me wrong other than 24GB of RAM you just slide under the minimum Steam specs. But a 50GB install usually means pretty big textures and as we saw with the PS4 version of CB2007, slow storage can cause all sorts of problems. What HDD are you using? If it's not a high RPM gaming one it potentially could be a bottle neck IMHO.
