What other games have you liked already? What kind of PC do you have? A lot of new games wont run on an old machine without a graphics card for example.

Oh, there's plenty to play in that genre!
The first one that jumps to mind is pretty old:

Really, just a lot of dumb fun because of the systems used. It's old now, but it's still plenty fun. There's a demo button on the Steam page to see what it's like.

The latter starts throwing in a little platforming gameplay, but it meshes well with the shooting once you finally get used to it.
