lets say you have 4 laptops, so you register each 4 laptops with 4 steams names like for example

gamer1
gamer2
gamer3
gamer4

and all of them you use the same gmail but with aliases?

so lets say, for example, my email is fleet@gmail.com

the emails I be using for each PC are
gamer1 - fleet@gmail.com
gamer2 - fleet+PC2@gmail.com
gamer3 - fleet+PC3@gmail.com
gamer4 - fleet+PC4@gmail.com

and in this way, every PC has its on account and game profiles etc..

and steam will allow this, and also google will allow this?

because, it all goes to the same main email which is fleet@gmail.com?

can I get some confirmation?

While it's generally advisable to use just one Steam account, there is no limit to the number of Steam accounts that can be used with a single email address. If you're sure you'd like to create a new account, you can select Continue to proceed with the account creation process.

not sure about the naming sequence though.

your example would be 4 different email addresses. Google may see them as one via links but everything before the @ is the name of the account.

aliases only needed if all 4 games played on same PC. Seems best way is to use multiple Windows users.
Create another Windows Account, install you steam into some local account folder e.g. Appdata so they don’t override themselves and then you got it

I thought Steam normally requires a unique email address for each account. You cannot make two completely separate Steam accounts using the exact same email.

as to why I am inquiring if this work around is something people have heard of?

My top quote is from Steam so they don't seem to care. If you want to buy the same games on multiple accounts linked to same email, they will let you.

you will get a message saying email exists but clicking continue will let you make a new account with that email address.

It might get complicated on your end.

It appears others have thought of it before. I myself hadn't.

like, all I really wanted was BO3 zombie running on 4 PC's via lan party and ready to go for guest coming in and out of my place

that's all there is

There is nothing stopping you from doing that.
You can use the email addresses like you wrote in 1st or use the same email address.
there shouldn't be any reason why either wouldn't work.

maybe I am not easy to understand :)
