Hell let loose

This is on epic as todays freebie so i looked a what some were saying about it , this is one thread entry

Hackers have broken the game, 90% of game its just hackers killing everyone on team
The ratio is so bad now there is almost no point playing game, the aimbot hacks that let them hit you from any direction and through walls kill any motivation to play.

Tactics become pointless or trying to play stealthy since the aimbot will just lock onto location or they use tracer hacks to see entire team positions across map, same goes for garrisons or outposts when they can see them through the map.

Even Tanks can use these aimbot hacks to snipe from impossible locations that you would never be able to see without the hacks locking onto you.

There are even servers that are run by hackers where they pay to run hacks and keep server up with 'donations' so they can always cheat without any concern of a ban.

Devs need to fix their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, why would any legit player want to play game anymore if every map is just aimbot hacking and no matter what you attempt the hackers will just click button and wipe out entire squads in 5 seconds.

Thats a shame. It looked like a really polished game and did peak my interest, but been watching some of the twitch streams and it looked pretty intense that i might be tearing my hair out playing it. Death comes swiftly and needs serious amounts of coordination to win. Something randoms just don't do at all. The most we can hope for is zergs or some charismatic players to organize everyone.

its becoming a pattern of multiplayer gaming just polluted by cheats.

I've played a mere four and a half hours of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if the "hackers" are just normal people who have played excessively. Much of what I played is about being patient and watching carefully, as there are no markers for enemies, so you have to visually spot them through their camo. There's benefits to knowing the maps and knowing what kind of terrain will hide your silhouette; newbies (myself included there) don't know these little tricks and so easily get caught out by veterans and then cry hacker.

One time I was playing and managed to accidentally find a small crevice in a bit of rock. I managed something like 15 kills because people would run by me and not see me; I actually ended-up running out of ammo and grenades and finally died because I needed to resort to trying to knife people (got a few!).

Not speaking of HLL here, but I've been called a hacker many times in games (World of Tanks, in particular), just because I was pretty good at them at the time and newbies don't know the tricks.

I should say also, HLL likely has one of those problems where veterans have played so long and learned so many tricks that they're so dominant and drive new players away. We see this a lot in older multiplayer games, so you're left with pretty much only vets and the newbs that come in get rapidly frustrated.

I haven't played HLL in a couple years but if this is the state of the game currently that makes me very sad. I really loved it when I was playing. It is a bit on the hardcore side but the satisfaction of playing in a well organized squad is really awesome. I could see people maybe getting the impression that hacking is an issue because half the time you die you don't know where it came from.

I tried a few of these WW1/WW2 games and the main thing that puts me off after a while is that there are too many bots. There is nothing fun about being number 1 on the leaderboard when you have killed 150 enemies in a conquest-type match knowing that 80% of them were bots.
