Just to clarify, I'm on other Xenforo platforms. There's nothing wrong with this site nor Future's other platforms. The formatting in your post is wrong.

Perhaps try a simpler approach;

and then work your way up. I used the share button for that game and then included the date above it.

Just to clarify, there are problems with this site, and my post was not misformatted. The problems started when the site reset to the generic format. According to the XenForo site, this is caused by either a CDN or cache problem. It is a known problem that happens and causes a site to reset and lose its formatting.

Due to this, most links don't unfurl for me anymore, which is why I did it this way to begin with. Go back to last year, and you'll see that I always did what you suggested. That's much easier and what I prefer to do, but it doesn't work consistently anymore.

As I said, the post is fine until I hit "post". Here's what it looks like. Does it seem misformatted?

Before I made my post here, I copied your entire post format using the BBcode method and parsed it as is on the other platforms I'm on, got the same result while hitting preview. I'll try and pass this issue along to the higher ups but as I've stated, you might want to look at a simpler approach, without the tables formatting/tags.

I started Moonring, a free roguelike available on Steam.

I tried a run on permadeath mode, but the start is kind of annoying to repeat each time you die, so I started using the autosave system instead.

It's a classic roguelike, so pretty much every enemy is a threat, especially if there are multiple of them. Luckily they're fairly easy to kite most of the time. You can also just avoid them altogether, as there is no xp mechanic in this game and loot drops are rare and not worth much, at least in the beginning.

The main way to get stronger seems to be to gain favour from the five different gods by fulfilling their quests, which reward you for engaging with the various mechanics of the game and give you new abilities.

The quests seem a bit of a grind and the combat isn't particularly engaging, so I'm not sure how long I'll stick with this. The main draw so far is how quickly the game starts up and that I can play it with just the mouse.

I appreciate the effort, despite the forum not being able to handle it. I would like to suggest you keep dark theme users in mind next time, as the dark grey text is very hard to read on a dark grey background.

So after a break from Star Rupture I'm back organising spaghetti like rails. Even with sender/receivers it's a bit of a nightmare! Really I could soon start the world engine which would mark the kind of end of the story at this point.

I'm really enjoying Forza Horizon 6. I've played them from 3 onwards and they seem to keep getting better each time.

I've also found a nice relaxing game in Meltopia. It's a simple melt ice. Sell items that drop out of ice and upgrade gear, frost resistance etc. Good for when you just want something that involves no brainpower
🙂

Meltopia reminds me of some Roblox games I've played with my kid, except those are way more minimalist. Even those are pretty enjoyable if you're in the mood for a mindless game.

Caved in and decided to buy a month of Game Pass so I can play Forza Horizon 6. 10 hours in, this is my favorite of the three Horizon games I've played (4, 5 and now 6). The setting and the cars are what make it the best, Japan is just so gorgeous to explore. I've fully decked out a 1989 Nissan Silvia K's S13 for that ultimate Initial D vibe.

However, like many Horizon games, it's just so utterly polished that it kind of drives me insane. This is perhaps the most un-offensive game ever made. I get it's a racing game and it doesn't need to do anything controversial or push the envelope in any way to be good at what it does, but it really is a kind of game that seems to have been designed from C-suite shareholder meetings to maximize profit and ROI rather than a passion for car and racing culture. I needed a palette cleanser in between sessions of this game, so I finally picked up Disco Elysium.

Only an hour into Disco Elysium and yeah, this is 100% the complete opposite kind of game in terms of it's ethos. I started watching the /noclip documentary of this game, and I can see how it is a pure work of love, so full of heart from the creators and designers. I've avoided spoilers this long so I'm going in relatively fresh. I kind of know what the game is about, but nothing of the story or much else. So far I'm really enjoying it.

There are some changes to formatting made when the style/theme changes, that's true. But also, that code is just messy. Feel free to copy/paste/edit this if you wish, it should survive any style/theme changes.

Just watched this yesterday, I thought it was pretty interesting. Made me want to play it, but also reminded of a lot of the issues I have with Forza 4 that drive me batty (multiple jumps and load screens to do anything)

I started a new game of Don't Starve Together with one of my friends. This game is a little over 10 years old now, but it's still getting updates. And since I haven't played it properly in a couple of years, I'm kind of lost on what to do, since I've forgotten a lot and the game has changed substantially.

So far neither of us have died and we have a decent farm, but I'm not really sure what we should be doing to prepare for winter or really how to make any kind of progress at all.

Oh, a Last Round version of Dead or Alive 6! They might actually make the game worth the cost once the sales kick in.

Just had a quick look and although i'm not a fighting game fan, i find the amount of costume DLC for this game utterly shocking. By the looks of things last round might not even have the costumes unlocked and you'll probably have to pony up money for those again OR possible last round exclusive ones. Which probably means buying the game again...

NakeyJakey is one of my favorite youtubers, great video. I swear I didn't just parrot his words, I genuinely felt that way while playing it. It's a very fun game, gorgeous to look at, but it also just feels devoid of any resemblance of soul. I like playing these kinds of games occasionally (COD comes to mind in that category), but I do need something good and real to balance it out. Pure corpo-slop game, but they can be fun sometimes. Just don't fall for the microtransactions.

I thought I would have until the Steam Summer Sale before I got tempted to spend the Steam gift cards I got for my birthday, but a bunch of games on my wishlist just went on sale and Fatekeeper released into Early Access today.
Fatekeeper looks incredibly similar to Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and it's only €8 right now:

However, my wife recently expressed interest in Satisfactory after someone showed off their build to her, so I might also buy that for both of us to play together. That would be all of the money I have in my Steam wallet, but it's also been quite a while since we had something we could do together. I'm just not sure she would stick with it. It would've been really nice if it had a demo for us to try out first.

Yeah, I like him quite a bit.

But yeah, I could tell Forza is not my type of game. I do like cars, but it's that type of game that's a little too polished and glossy, the edges sanded down to something generic, with mass appeal. I always really want to like those games, but I never end-up playing them for terribly long. Happened with Forza 4 and I know Forza 6 has improvements over it, but it looks like largely the same game.

This popped up in my email this morning, as I had it on my wishlist. Weirdly, at $7.99, I feel that it's suspiciously cheap, so I was going to wait for some reviews first.

That describes it very well. Mass appeal with not much different going on over previous entries. The settings is what makes these games, the differences are very slight. At least this looks like it has just a bit more edge to it:

FH6: its a bit mean to pick on games made today and compare them against their previous versions, as the games in the past were made by people who knew what they were doing.

He seems to dwell on the story line... its a racing game, none of them ever have anything deep, story just there to get you to do events. I never played the previous Forza games or this one yet, so cannot compare it really... If the voices annoy you, can you turn them off? I could happily play games with no voice acting. I don't need it for "immersion"

I suppose you could turn the dialogue volume all the way down. Forza Horizon is the type of game where they are trying to cram in a story and characters in your face. You meet tons of characters in these games, none of which I could recall the names of. It serves a purpose as each Horizon game is like a massive racing festival, but it's completely forced and unmemorable. At least Forza Motorsport doesn't even try to have a story and focuses purely on the racing and cars.

The June Humble choice has come out and... yeah nothing exciting or note worthy that screams must buy to me atm. So this will be a miss this month. Sure i've added one or 2 of them onto my wishlist but its more as something to keep an eye on rather then "me wantee" desires.

Divinty: original sin still business as usual as i explore the wilderness and try to do the main objectives. Still haven't really decided how to upgrade my fighter character tbh. I would like to invest in men-at-arms skill but the fact that i can't buy or learn atm its a bit redundant.

The magic and dex build routes are pretty much off the table, i suspect RPGs like D:OS a jack of all trades is a master of none and you'll be just a poor build. But investing in defensive skills is expensive and the lore/crafting stuff so far is utterly pointless. all the good gear so far has been on the floor. What can i hope to create with so little skills let along recipes to work on?

What about the magic side of things? Again, the cost of buying (or even using) these skills makes them too expensive to learn and the limited quick slots means i can't really have too many things to play. If it was more like BG or POE where you could copy a spell into your spell book at the cost of the scroll, i would be far more excited. I could mix and match to my hearts desire. My mage of the group is currently a fire and geomancy based with a dash of water just so i can use the one healing spell.

Bah. better consult the Wikis and guides.

Need for speed has been like that for years. Test Drive Unlimited sort of did as well, but I mostly ignored its racing .. could use other ways to get money besides just winning races. My internet connection was so slow back then I couldn't actually compete against others in races. Still managed to buy most of the cars I wanted.

I think they did it to get more people involved. There are those who like stories in games... and racing games never really needed one besides "You are a driver and must win races to keep playing" - that was enough incentive/explanation.

I might look at it in 6 months or so when its less popular. Let all those who must complete it have their fun. I don't care about competition.

The June humble bundle is pretty sad this month. Ill probably still grab it since i want to keep my discount through their store as high as i can (gonna need it for some games coming out soon). But i do want to say i have a bunch of games from previous months i havent picked up yet and not sure what id do with them. If there is one over the last couple months that i havent used thats in there, i could throw it someones way.

Delved pretty hard and pretty late into Diablo 4's new expansion/season. It ends in roughly 3 1/2 weeks and theres other games coming up im gonna spend time with but im having fun with Diablo 4 currently.

Not a meta build, but a good build, Penetrating Shot rogue. Fast and fun but can be aggravating when your running along then some random 1-shot pops up out of the ground and you hitch/clip into it from dashing so much you die. This is why HC is lame to play. Dieing to game design and not the actual game.

Yes, everyone in the realm of ARPG's is riding that POE 2 train, but im just not into that game like Diablo 4.

Now, when july 23rd rolls around, ill be dropping Diablo 4 like a hot hot pocket and running over to Grim Dawn which releases their next big expansion on that day!

Im going to be trying Fatekeeper too. Only 8 bucks right now and looks fantastic.

Steam Controller still working good. Its...mostly replaced having a kb/m in my living room, the control scheme i have set up works pretty well, but its still not 100%.

It takes some finagling which i dont like doing (but eventually works) with GOG games, its annoying to have to put them in steam and launch from there and even half the time they do, the controller doesnt work.

The idea of running through steam is that the controller overrides the inputs in games that have controller inputs yet when i launch gog or xbox games they generally dont work at first.

The controller feels great, great BT range, battery life and the trackpads are really responsive but i will always be annoyed if i cant just natively turn the controller on for any game on my pc with gamepad tech in it and have it not work.
