Question Gamepad controller is not detecting in windows but in linux whats the probem?

hi i have connected my gamepad controller to linux its working fine but not on windows whats the problem? i am still confused.

Hi. It would help to tell us the exact model of controller and what game and or launcher you are trying to use it on.

Have you tried switching to a different USB port? Like swap the mouse for the controller just for a little to see if it starts working.

Which DS version are you running. Each version is for a different type of controller. DS3 - General Controllers, DS4 - Dual Shock controllers, DS5 - Dual sense controllers. You might have the wrong software running for it in Windows.
