Game delay

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I have some game delay which somehow gives me less time to react, and feels either desynched or like I'm a few frames behind the actual game. I never had this with the laptop I have just gotten rid of, but now I'm properly struggling in games, even though my fps is higher and ping is slightly lower. I have tried reinstalling windows and my graphics drivers and currently found nothing that works.

Just a follow-up, I'm not sure if it's to do with windows or my actual laptop, not sure if I installed windows wrong or anything. Games run on other devices fine.

Hello,

I posted yesterday about a game delay I get, it feels like games are frames behind and I die in some strange ways in games and have no time to react.

I reinstalled windows and games began running as they should, until I switched it off and turned it back on, then the issue came back. I don't get what it could be.

Any ideas please?

since its the same problem, might as well use same thread and remove us needing to ask the same questions again.

would latency describe the problem?

Did you go to acer website for laptop and check if any new drivers?

It doesn't feel like latency, since I get really low ping and high FPS. I havent no, but I don't get it, if it was a driver issue wouldn't it happen when the laptop is also factory reset, but once it restarts after the factory, it messes up again

Its possible windows updating drivers after the restart. Why checking site can help after a reset/install.

Resets should just use the drivers you had already. Factory resets might use a selection of drivers hidden on drive already - depends how acer do it.

not sure what would cause the behaviour if its not the lan drivers.

is this it?
so its got an nvme, it shouldn't be that.

I am not an expert on laptops but there isn't that much difference between them and PC now days.
