Does it sound like my friend installed the ssd card correctly?

I just got all the parts for my pc. I was gonna have a computer shop build it for me, but I have a friend who built a pc before, and I asked if he could help me. He was familiar with most of it except for to put the ssd card in. We spent like an hour trying to find the slot to put it in. The motherboard is a b650 aorus elite ax v2. I'll post a photo of the motherboard with the part. It was a long piece with a screw at the end. He unscrewed it, and noticed there was adhesive on the bottom, so he put thr ssd card on the adhesive, and plaged it into the slot, or at least he was pretty sure he did. And then he screwed it back on. I'm afraid he didn't do it prop

that is the heatsink for m.2 so if you had an nvme then it is the right place. Sounds good to me.

Your manual has instructions for every part except it - https://download.gigabyte.com/FileL...1002_e.pdf?v=4821b6f9e6dee6464b01563473533029
