As Lutfij linked. Practically every motherboard has a CPU Compatibility list on its support pages. So when in doubt, that is where you will want to check.
Something to pay attention to on those lists. Is not just whether the CPU is listed, but with what BIOS they where validated with. If the CPU lists a later bios, there is a risk that you need to update the bios before the CPU will work, which can be difficult it it doesn't even boot... (Some computer stores offer Bios Update service for that reason).
On that the Asus PRIME is guaranteed to be OK. listing that all are compatible from the get-go.
MSI is not guaranteed. It is slightly older than the prime and got 5700G compatibility starting with a later bios.
