Do people still say gg?

So admittedly I've been out of the multiplayer gaming space for a while, but I have noticed no one really says "gg" after a match anymore. This is after about a week of getting back into Splitgate so this is obviously not a broad survey of any kind. I'm just curious if this is other people's experience. Is it considered toxic now? Is it because people don't allow chat like they used to? Or is it just the game I'm currently playing? Anyway, just curious what others thoughts/experiences are or if I'm mistaken and just an old man yelling at a cloud.

i do say GG if the match was good. but it varies from person to person. Some say GG to say it was a fun game (especially those who lose the match) and others say it because they did well. Others just type in EZ, again could be being sarcastic or they are being jerks and laughing at the losers.

i say GG if it was a good game. But i don't really care whether i see it or not. Personally i don't play multiplayer that often now, it brings a horrible side of me i rather not see again.

In CoD, I've seen the odd gg now and again. Not most people by any means. I think it’s not too well used among casuals though.

Def. based on the games youre playing. I even see "gg" in just coop games (Helldivers say "gg" or some form of it at the end of missions a lot for example)

Do i see it as much i used to? No

I stopped playing pvp 4 years ago, but I only said gg if it was in fact a good match, never on a stomp.

If it's a stomp I would say thanks for the match, or I'd tell the team only good job, or good team work. Trash talk is just for poor sports and to me unacceptable at every lvl.

I see it occasionally when playing Vermintide 2 after we win a game. I think the majority just doesn't use the chat function at all though.
