customer services strike again !

A long time ago i made a thread about having a lot of games on disc that i cant use on a new pc because the id code and email address are already in use .... they BY ME.
I have never got anyone to issue me with a replacement code and one support said scan the receipt of your game to prove purchase and we will help you.

I now have another case of cant help wont help

I uninstalled Dragonheir because my ssd was getting full and then i put it on a new one. In the mean time they did some sort of account migration and you have to login with face ache , apple id or google. I tried google as its the only option i could use and it wont let me in so i sent as much information as possible to them but they just keep saying LOG IN to your account for your user id etc and we will help you ... which part of I CANT LOG IN ... dont they understand.

I find if you call them it can be more helpful. Though that can be harder for smaller and indy stuff.
My last sentence is the clue to my problem.....
LOG IN to your account for your user id etc and we will help you ... which part of I CANT LOG IN ... dont they understand.

Hmmmm i bet if i sent them an abuse email they would be able to find my account and delete it.

Some are not even remotely helpful either, like with BattleStates Games. I tried to get my Tarkov account back a few years ago and they refused to help me, even if I had my account name, e-mail, knew what was in my inventory the last time I played, and roughly how long it was since I played. Even the suggestion of showing ID to compare it to the account info would not be enough. So yeah, some are just unwilling to the point of being scummy.

When i find a good game i absolutely hammer it and thats why my satisfactory save has 4,000+ hours on it , i do get some puzzle games like The Room series and The house of Da Vinci series when i run out of things to do on satisfactory.

In the last year or so i have become very disillusioned with the games industry , most of them take your money and leave you to fend for yourself when things go wrong. In the T & C's they warn you not to hack/cheat then you go into the chatrooms and players are openly offering cheats and exploits for sale.

Hackers and cheats are getting out of control to the point where i look at a game and ask if their are any cheaters in it , and again when the answer is yes some players say the devs dont care

It depends on the company. Some are much better at banning and have good customer support while others will even keep bots and the like in their games to profit from them. Some GMs (ingame support) like in WoW for example would even close player reports without helping the player, but saying that they did so they could get daily quota and look better on paper.

I don't think it is that bad yet, but I also think that moving away from your typical AAA(A) game is the wisest choice when avoiding them. Like if you play COD, WOW, or similar types of games you will be more prone to see them.

It also depends a bit on what ranking a person have in the game as you will often find more hacks/bots in low-ranked games because they are just bad at playing. Either they will not have the skills to get ranked or they will get reported because the better players know how the game plays and can spot them miles away. Even some pro players cheat from time to time, but it would be extremely hard not to get spotted by professionals.

In Escape from Tarkov, some hackers would use see-through walls hacks and then use a wiggle *moving their body side to side" to communicate with other hackers that they were also shady. That way they could both kill players and take loot but without killing each other. Pretty nasty stuff, but thankfully most games have admins that know their stuff and can spot them.
