I updated the list by a little more than a bit

Will definitely keep the same GPU
But any other suggestions?

What resolution does your brother plan on using .. 1080, 1440 or 4k? btw you want a Z690 board for that unlocked cpu you have in your build and that Corsair RM psu is made in china with cheap resistors not to mention you want 4-pin case fans, not 3-pin or you won't be able to use the curve in the bios to adjust the fan speed.

What abaut the Z690 motherboard?
Should i go for 2021 RMx or 2018 RMx?
2021 seeing how it was revised for the RTX 30XX series cards due to the power spikes bricking psu's.

I'd look at these changes.

Better case than that Corsair.

Lian Li Lancool II Mesh RGB - BLACK £96.95

https://lian-li.com/product/lancool-ii-mesh-rgb/

It only needs one more fan ... an exhaust fan.

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/120...-500-2000rpm-13-56cfm-rifle-bearing-black-fra
Fractal Designs Aspect 12 RGB 4-pin PWM Cooling Fan £12.98

Less than 10% of PC users will ever use that extra PCI slot that comes with a full size ATX board. This board down below has the Realtek 1200 audio codec along with WiFi 6.

MSI MAG B660M MORTAR WIFI DDR4 £179.99

Review of that board.

Unlike the AIO you have in your build, this one has RGB and seeing how you have a thing for that ..... btw this cooler will easily handle the cpu posted down below it and it comes with the LGA1700 bracket.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB £69.98

With that money you saved you can go big on your cpu. Just remember you want to use Windows 11 for these new Alder Lake cpu's with the big/little cores.

Here's one other thing to think about if your brother plans on playing first person shooter games such as CoD Warzone. Games such as CoD and BF are all about frames per second. A 3060 Ti will get you a boatload of FPS on those games at 1080P but the 3070 Ti not so much at 1440. It's closer to a 3070 than it is a 3080 in that regard. I follow a few Brit CoD Warzone players on youtube .. two of them being VikkStar and Benny Central. Both of those guys play with what we call the Scottish Sweatlords ... four Scots that all play on 1080P because they refuse to drop 2000+ quid on a 3080 Ti. They all run 3060 Ti's. Those Scots play in money tournaments and it's a rare day they get less than a dozen kills a match. They normally drop 20 bombs (kills) in public servers.

If that's the case then I'd lean towards 1080P.
Spoke to him and he agreed to lean to 1080p so we will have to find a good monitor the rest of the equipment are all set.
