need more info.
whats your PSU?
did you plug in the GPU power connectors?
double check your bios... some need to be changed to not use onboard video.
My PSU is a Corsair CX600M
I plugged in the connectors but no response.
Idk... without the GPU i have image but when i plug in into the motherboard and put the connectors it shows Blue-screen , no HDMI signal..

Plug back into the MB, boot to you bios setup, look for a setting for video output.

in advanced settings > Graphics config > Auto (or PCIE)
E9389_Sabertooth_Z97_Mark1_V2.pdf (asus.com) page 105

make sure you are in PCIE slot one, that it is seated well, that its plugged in, and the HDMI is plugged into the correct HDMI port in the back of the GPU. When you turn on the PC, make sure the fans spin on the GPU
