Blast from the past

Started watching video entitled: "The comedy RPG masterpiece you've never played" and right away I thought... this looks familiar...

amazed its on steam. Might buy it... again.

I had forgotten its name. It might not like my new PC though... its 24 years old (game, not PC).

@Colif He reminds me a bit of the main character from Freelancer with a less serious undertone:

It was a comedy after all. It doesn't take long to notice that in game.

Back in 2001 I bought games based on what box looked like. I remember its box... blue?
Yep (not paying $USD300 for a boxed version lol)

I don't think I have any boxes left. Might have a few game cd's around.

It was made by one of the guys who made doom. It just came out in a bad year when plenty of amazing games came out, and was buried

I have a few boxed games, but nothing of worth, like Civilization 2 boxed or similar price range. I do have some CDs that could be worth something and a few PC Gamer Magazines that I would never sell because they are a part of my childhood. I'd never take the risk of buying anything boxed on eBay though. I would have to see it in front of me to be sure plastic or other stuff has not been tampered with.

i wasn't thinking of selling them. I don't have any games worth selling. I don't think about keeping everything about them. Been years since I got anything physical anyway.

I never sell anything I own. I use it until it stops being useful to me. Most things get worn out. Then I replace them. Only things I have that don't get used to death are spare parts for PC. And by time I remove them I am likely only person who should use them. Like old mice/keyboards or things I have taken out of PC and replaced with others. Its only current PC where I replaced some parts before they died... most times parts weren't so lucky.

reminds me of another silly game I had always wanted to play

you can tell its old, it was when IGN knew there were numbers below 6 in its rating system

Ah yes Starship titanic, it was interesting in that you could type in everything you want to say. in practice it wasn't quite there and some of the puzzles were a bit questionable. But it did have some top notch talent doing voice work.

Want to see a review and ending? Watch civie11's video on it.
