Been playing Xenoblade Chronicles X – 60 hours in and still loving it

Hey all,

I’ve been playing Xenoblade Chronicles X for about 60 hours now, and honestly, I’m still having a great time.

What stands out the most for me is how smooth and stable the game runs, especially when playing in a more handheld-style setup. It really makes it easy to just pick up and play for a bit whenever I have time.

I enjoy slowly working through side quests at my own pace — there’s something really satisfying about chipping away at objectives while exploring. And discovering new areas on the map never gets old. The sense of scale and variety in the environments is just incredible.

Still lots to do, but I’m in no rush. Just wanted to share how much I’ve been enjoying it.

I really wish Monolith Soft would translate the whole Xeno series over to PC - finishing the last half of Xenogears and doing all the planned games for Xenosaga, as long as I'm wishing.

I haven't played the Xenosaga series yet, but I'd be happy if that were to happen so I could play them too.

They were a mixed bag. The first was great, no qualms at all (for a Playstation 2 era game). The second had an even better story, but the battle system was the pits. The third game brought a much better battle system, but by then it was clear they weren't going to be able to do all six (?) of the planned games, so they tried to cram what they could of the last four into a single game. You couldn't walk around a corner without a loose end getting tied up! They managed to make a pretty good game out of it.
