DO NOT ... reply to bot spam , usually to unsubscribe , if you reply you will send an electronic signal back to the spammers that their machines have made contact with an email address that actually exists , then you get more.
Games companies tell us to keep our details secure but a lot of them break their own guidelines and sell our details on. How else would you explain that i get emails that start hello #user name or hello #game tag , and they are from companies i have never dealt with.
Try this , set up a new email address and DONT you use , now wait and see how quick it gets hit by spam machines. I did this to prove to wife i was not doing porn , within days it was full on bitcoin , viagra and F buddy invites. Before i deleted the email address that inbox was getting about 300 a day.
