Was just reading The best racing games on PC, is this list still good? Any challengers?
Also TrackMania 2 looks fun...

There hasn't really been anything new released since then that would qualify, so I'd say its still accurate.

Codemasters really messed up with GRID, didn't they? It's a good game but they really should have just waited. The "Seasons" are introducing features that really should have been in the base game, like modifying the career race lengths.

Automobilsta 2 is a great racing sim. check it out on Steam.

IMO, the best race game ever made was Need For Speed Porsche 2000/Unleashed.
