I don't expect anyone will know a solution, but who knows...

So, my problem is, that anti-aliasing doesn't work in all my games. There is a very bad shimmering even on static image with TAA, while all the other AA methods (FXAA, MSAA, SMAA...) have extreme jaggies and flickering edges.

This issue was triggered once I installed RTX 2080 Ti to my main PC. But the thing is, somehow my secondary PC and laptop got affected with it too.

Below you can see some videos:

And here is a list of what I tried:

- Different combos of graphical settings in each specific game
- Various settings in NVCP
- Reinstalling GPU drivers (using DDU), various versions of drivers, both old and new
- Doing a clean reinstall of Windows OS (tried Windows 10 and Windows 7)
- Various settings in Windows, such as changing power settings, disabling game mode, enabling/disabling page file etc.
- Many different video cards (RTX 2080 Ti, GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1070, GTX 980, GTX 780, GTX 760)
- Completely changed every single part of my main gaming PC (new Motherboard, CPU, RAM, PSU, SSD, even got a new case and new coolers)
- Laptop (tested my games on both 860m and integrated GPU)
- Different monitors (1080p and 1440p) and TVs (1080p and 4K), also various settings on them
- Also tested the games on my secondary PC (with an old AMD CPU and GTX 980)
- High quality 8K certified DP cable, new and different HDMI cable
- High quality extension cord with a surge protection
- Different electrical outlets in different rooms
- Updating BIOS
- Changing various settings in BIOS such as disabling c-states etc.
- Disabling Steam, Origin and other app overlays (I heard it could cause similar issues)
- GPU overclocking and downclocking
- Disabling all the unnecessary processes, such as antivirus, afterburner, bluetooth etc (I keep my main gaming PC clean, just Steam, few apps and games).

You've ruled out hardware by trying multiple systems, you've ruled out software (clean install). Assuming you didn't then reinstall some other software than the game client and the games, that doesn't leave much to suggest unfortunately. You've tried different driver versions too.

NMS was particularly bad for aliasing when I played it, though I don't usually see what you do in The Division 2. That said, I'm almost never standing still in The Division 2, so the blur TAA adds during movement may be masking it.

You could try using Nvidia control panel, or something like Reshade to add FXAA on top - see if it can blur that out enough for it not to bother you.

Enabling/disabling options in Nvidia control panel have no impact. I can set everything to max quality, even DSR to 5K or so, but there are still massive flickering, shimmering and jaggies in every game :(

I tried countless options in Nvidia inspector and Geforce ReShade, none of it have any impact on the issue.

I’ve used nvidia-inspector years ago for an issue similar to this. Looking at your division 2 video, those crane cables are thin, like car antennas and I know that there’s always been issues with thin textures like that. I’ll get flickering sometimes still.
