Thanks for the reply I have cleaned and checked the jack but to no avail. I also tested the device on another machine and experienced the same problem. Worried I'm going to have to get a replacement

For some reason randomly my hs65 corsair headset is far softer on the left compared to the right. The only way I can remedy this somewhat is if I fiddle with the balance levels in the Microsoft sound settings. But this is not a solution. Is there a reason why this is suddenly a problem?
