I think Red Alert (the original) is the only one I ever finished.
World in Conflict was better, but I had more choices by that time and started playing something else before I finished. Also, Homeworld: Cataclysm (now called Homeworld: Emergence) was really fun for a long time.
Me?? A little in gym class. My nieces, however, played it a lot.
Have you put custom music into the jukebox? Maybe switched some in-game shots to some of your own screenshots? It's fun!
I've still got one down in the basement! It will have to stay there, too - nobody in the nearby area family has a back good enough to get it up the stairs. 2048x1536 resolution! Or 1280x960, or 1024x768, or 1856x1392... CRTs were awesome.
Catching up...
Can we have some volunteers with very high end and very low end PCs that will let me remote to their machines so I can make Steam reviews from them that prove the game is poorly/awesomely optimized? ;)
I remember when PhysX showed up in City of Heroes, back before nvidia bought...
What if it were safe? People would be jumping out of skyscrapers to get to their cars like bats coming out of a cave at sunset! (Oh no! The boss is coming to ask me to work over the weekend! Quick, open the window!!)
I'm over on Jedi : Survivor. It started off pretty similar to Jedi: Fallen Order on Coriscant (sp?). The main path is pretty linear, but the path twists back on itself, allowing them to put in shortcuts. For instance, you might have a save point at the bottom of a room. Later in the game...
My first PC: An Apple 2+ with 48K memory
First PC I bought: Atari 800XL with 64K memory (I think? did I get that with birthday/Christmas money or did I get it as a birthday present?)
First IBM clone PC: Something made-to-order by Micron. No clue what the stats were, but it had Windows and...
"MMORPGs like City of Heroes slap on 'controller' to that number."
Eeeeesh. Harvey, you need a refresher course in City of Heroes/Villains! I'll spare everyone the page-long post going into details of why, but know that's a terrible understatement.
That said, I'm fine with anything...
Oh good. I was starting to dread playing.
I'm not hitting as many bugs, but this is a 15 year old game with a player-made mod over the top. It's very well done, but even Skyrim, developed using FAR more man-hours, is getting pretty dated. (I'm afraid that business with climbing is in the...
8-year-old me is screaming at the image of a cool, sleek, super-fast train painted up pink.
Well, there's a novel way to join a union...

The original Final Fantasy 7 pulled a not-so-famous death:
Cringy... hmmm.... I got some where the voice acting is incredibly horrible. Reasonably well acted but cringy... oh! How about a classic from Final Fantasy X?
