For me I'd say GTA 5 is the best way to experience it. Good story, I loved the characters, decent online play even though I didn't do it much. The old games are good too, but have fun trying to get GTA 1 and 2 anymore. Alternatively there's Saints Row. 3 is my fav for that series.

I just wanted to add postal, but it adds all of them. If I ever have a girlfriend she's never using my GoG account. 🤷‍♂️

ELEX ain't a bad game. I've been thinking about reinstalling it. Best way to describe it is it's not a AAA game, but it's like those B movies ya love to watch. They ain't gonna win awards, but there's just something campy about it that ya still like it. Kinda like junk food for the brain.

People are mentioning other great games, but I will say with some of the older games. Look at some of the fan side patches and fixes. Some games from years ago don't always work on newer operating systems, some *like anachronix* had some game breaking bugs that got fixed with fan patches... then...

I have played tons of games over the years and have had a lot of experiences all across the board. For encountering toxic players there's a few games/mods I've played that had some truly toxic people and bad experiences. Fortnite - Holy moses some of my teammates have been absolutely horrible...

I like Sleeping Dogs. Wasn't a bad game, I liked the story and some of the characters. It's a little clunky as mentioned, but it's not horrible. It's a game of it's time, but it was a fun game. Maybe I'll toss it on my steam deck. Speaking of Steam Deck I picked up Outer Worlds, just the base...

I'm in Canada and sometimes Best Buy has good deals. Depends what time of the year though. Their PC's will come with some bloatware you can uninstall.
