Yeah, I've been seeing the same issue as well.

Ultimately the issue was that it was failing to get pulled into The Old Reader, but changing the RSS URL to be https fixed it for me. Thanks!

Perhaps I am the only one who uses this, but it seems like that the PC Gamer RSS feed at www.pcgamer.com/rss/ no longer works. I also notice that if you navigate to that page firefox tries to download the file. This seems like different behavior when compared to something like ars technica's rss...
