    In my opinion it should say on the box or the manufacturer should actually say what is compatible with each part and I don't think someone is actually doing it, or if they are, they are doing it poorly or don't actually know.

    You're missing socket size, socket type and number of socket pins. and CPU size/CPU type and CPU pins.
