    The last game you completed

I'm pretty sure that the 100 rep race in Wheel World is the final race, in which case I've finished it. It's an absolutely brilliant game with a very nice soundtrack. There's just something about flicking back and forth between corners and then boosting down straights. It starts out simple...

    August 2025 General Game Discussion

I've finished Doom the Dark Ages and COD Blackops 6 campaign. I've also gone back to Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 which I bought the Submarine and Fishing Boats DLC. The submarines are absolutely huge in game!

If at first you don't succeed, try and try again

Killing the Searing Exarch pinnacle boss in Path of Exile. It has a certain attack at two health stages that shoot balls of fire across the screen vertically and then horizontally. Some of these are removed and you have to dodge through the gap. I just could not get the timing right on this...

A Quick Warning About Using WeMod

Bulk Crap Uninstaller has the option to do this for you and will also allow you to create a system restore point and registry backup if you want. It's been reviewed by techradar

    Advice for a new monitor

Newly released ones maybe. You can still pickup monitors like the MSI MAG 325CQRF-QD for around £300. That's a 32 inch curved 170hz 1440p VA panel monitor. I wouldn't upgrade to this from a 27 inch one though. As other's have said upgrade other bits then maybe in a few years time a new GPU.

What is the biggest game on your PC and how do you decide when to delete games?

Sniper Elite : Resistance at 112GB. I finally got to use my 1 months free Game Pass that came with my new machine after getting bored with the current Path of Exile season. I have Atomfall installed which I'll play next along with the new Doom game. I generally delete most games when either -...

Review Bombing, is it ever a good thing?

It has it's place as it's the only way that customers have to complain about a companies behaviour and policies. Personally I won't do it as it can be really bad on the people that worked on it, even leaving to layoffs. I will post a proper review of a game rather than a one to two line rant...

    Good old fashioned fun.

For me I either listen to podcasts or music whilst driving a truck around europe or america. Very relaxing apart from trying to deliver a yacht up what is in fact an alleyway on a greek island. Let's just say it had more than one or two scratches on it...

June 2025 General Game Discussion Thread

I've been playing The Planet Crafter as it has a new free update which allows you to terraform two new moons and also travel from the original planet to humble (or vice versa). Also there is a new league of Path of Exile 1 is starting next week! The first in ~11 months!

What games are you currently revisiting

I started a new play through of the original planet in The Planet Crafter as you can now travel to two new moons when you have terraformed the first planet. You can also start on Humble if you have the DLC. I might go and play PoE again, but it depends on the details of the league...

May 2025 General Game Discussion Thread

I only buy new "AAA" games when they aren't new. Just wait a year or two and you can probably pick it up for a lot less. I'm finding that I'm buying more games that are under £30, playing the games I have or are in the huge backlog that you get with Epic Games free giveawys.

I have just hit internet jackpot

I went from BT to EE, ditched both a landline phone service and went from 30 mb to 150mb FTTP. They had to run a new line into the property but the installation was free. Even just switching broadband saved money and EE is owned by BT. My previous broadband was pretty fast but just going to...

How many of you just use your PC for gaming?

90% gaming. Although I also listen to music or podcasts at the same time. I often have 10+ browser tabs open on a second monitor. I wanted to future proof my PC a bit so I went with a 4070ti SUPER and 64gb RAM. The only likely upgrades I might make are a second NvmE drive as I only have 2TB's...

Colif breaks into your house and steals your Nvidia GPU

I would have bought a 9070XT but my PC died late last year. The memory speed of the NVIDIA card is a lot lower but the GDDR7 means the memory runs faster. However the card really doesn't make use of this as the cards perform pretty close to each other. Blackwell (50 series) is only 5-10%...
