Your scariest moments in a game

Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I hated that part where there was an invisible monster and the water. F.E.A.R. Going down that ladder and Alma being there immediately. Outlast. Still haven't gone back to it. It was like right after getting in the building and the thing drops from the ceiling. I...

Weekend Question: Which RTS series deserves a comeback?

I second Empire Earth! Such a fun series, but to be more original: Rise of Nations. Perhaps one of my favorite RTS games and one that only spawned an additional expansion. I think it's well worth bringing back for a sequel with a proper campaign!

Mandalorian - sound off, bounty hunter fans!

I finally finished it last night and I like the series overall. That said, I think The Witcher is much better. Though I think that's because The Mandalorian is definitely a family-friendly show as where The Witcher is not. I enjoyed The Mandalorian, but I think I enjoyed it the most because of...

What game(s) are you looking towards in 2020?

Well, I just pre-ordered Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot last night, so I guess that's the first game of 2020 I'm looking forward too and playing!

In Your Library - Never Played

That's an extremely fair assessment. The Witcher is known for its clunky combat system. That said, The Witcher 2 is a departure and much more fun and easier to play!

    The last game you completed

    Super Lucky's Tale.

So you're saying that the left sidebar should move with the user's screen? If so, I concur!

In Your Library - Never Played

With a library of close to 1,800 games, I have about 680 games in my backlog and a further 360 games in my replay (games I've tried but couldn't get into at the time or games further in the series of games I haven't played yet) Here are some highlights: A Plague Tale Alien: Isolation Baldur's...

    Old school ARPG

That's not a true statement. You most definitely can carry over your character through all three difficulties. You main your level, gear, and shrine points. Matter of fact, the only way to continue playing with your character is to increase the difficulty as it's the only way to reset the world...

    Best entry level strategy games?

Crusader Kings 2 is definitely an in-depth game, but it's overstated on how hard it is to get into the game. Playthrough the learning scenario and you'll have the basics and be able to play the game from there. Then as you continue to play you learn more and more about the game. You also don't...

    GOG Galaxy 2.0

I had over 1,000 games to tag in my library. It took me a couple of days, but now that it's done it was so worth it! I just watched some Netflix while I did it!

You are now the last video game character you played. What do you do?

I'm a Dwarf that was exiled from Orzammar because my younger brother framed me for the murder of my older brother. Luckily, I survived the Deep Roads and lived through the joining and became a Grey Warden. I'm on a mission to save Ferelden from the Blight!

Netflix Witcher - Let's dig into this bad boy

I finished watching The Witcher last week and finished reading the second book last night (show is based off the first two books). I can completely understand why some people are not fans of the multiple timelines, even as someone who had the knowledge of the stories they were portraying...

What game(s) are you looking towards in 2020?

I'd be excited to see a June release of Elden Ring, but with no gameplay or almost anything about the game being released at this point, it seems hard to believe that the game is going to be ready for June. That said, if it happens, that would be awesome!
