Quake III Arena.

This could've been my choice as well but the 3rd game dropped the ball so hard I couldn't even bring myself to complete it..

So everyone raves about God of War, and now its on discount again (and on my Steam wishlist) but I'm hesitating to pull the trigger. I love a good story based adventure, so it should technically be a good fit but I'm still somehow not convinced. Some fan of the game here care to shed some light...

Many insanely great games out there, but Disco Elysium was so deep, dark, funny, and surprising that only Planescape: Torment has come somewhat close. So many amazing moments in DE with such depth, made a grown man shed a few manly tears more than once.
