Ha, I do have a habit of scope creep and curiosity when it comes to my tech needs. But all my friends are on Playstation so this is really going to be single player stuff and PC exclusives. And I sold my wife on photo/4K video editing plus medium duty gaming...ha!

Thanks for the info - so it really comes down to space more than compatibility it sounds like. Not ruling out the 3080 I guess, but the price/performance of the 3070 is definitely appealing. Thanks again!
