    I think that Origins had it the best in series. But my favourite romances are in the Dominion of Darkness by Adeptus7, especially with Kiriela and Polena, they mix darkness with cuteness.

    Yes, Crusader Kings have them pretty good. And Stellaris too. But the best intrigue mechanics has Dominion of Darkness by Adeptus7. You can corrupt whole nations and their leaders, turn heroes evil, weaken enemy with cults and plagues.

    Crusader Kings! But my favourite game where You can plan as a villain is Dominion of Darkness by Adeptus7. It is ultimate power fantasy. Best Dark Lord Simulator, grimdark game.
