My computer supports 11, I just don't have that required doohickey turned on in my BIOS. It's scary no matter what way you do it, but updating the BIOS from the manufacturer's own utility app without any kind of booting into the BIOS or whatever has bricked my motherboard once or twice in the past.

Glad you figured it out. A lot of those types of programs are self important and turn themselves on without ever asking you as if you automatically want it just because you have the app.

Pretty much exactly how they work. The bulb that lights the lamp also heats the water and wax. The wax warms up and rises and then near the top it cools off and descends.
