I think, just like any other game, that the hype around it has settled. Most people were very happy with the game (like me). But its in Valve's hands now, i expect more VR games from them in the coming years and one of them is definitely going to be a Half-Life game. You need to give it time...

Its pretty simple cheating is a million-dollar business. And as long people are willing to pay to "win" its not going to go away unfortunately.

What i want to do the most in this game is what i want from every game, its to be taken out of the real world and to discover a new one. And if there is one developer who has done exactly that, its CDPR. I cant wait to explore and experience this new world.
