So, what am I missing. There's no video card because yeah, they're expensive. But what's the point in having a PC with no video? Wouldn't it be just an expensive paper weight?

Yup. I've taken almost every one. I haven't installed a single one of them but I kind of like the idea of costing them a few dollars or cents here and there.
