Feature What game would make a great Netflix series?

I'd love to see kind of a timeloop series about a roguelike of some kind. Elements of Edge of Tomorrow or something where the game keeps changing and beginning anew. Failing that? Yakuza. Half serious crime drama, half wacky fun.

What 'non violent' shooters are there?

While the game is more a compilation of community-made gamemodes, some of which are violent, I've spent more than a few hours in Garry's Mod playing entirely nonviolent modes, like construction, prop hunt (Where you're shooting at crates and soda cans instead of people, though there are versions...

Competition Win an EPIC Black Edition gaming chair from noblechairs!

All time favorite, even though I don't play it as much nowadays, would have to be Garry's Mod (Yeah I know, it's stretching a bit, but c'mon!), I met one of my best friends playing it, and I've had more belly-ache laughs smashing physics props together in that game than any other game.

    Suggestions for kid-friendly fighting games?

I've heard and seen good things about Them's Fightin' Herds. They recently, as of a couple months ago, added a kind of party game mode, too.

Question What RPG did you FINALLY find time to play?

I've only recently been finding time to play Final Fantasy 7, and only thanks to the switch version and a really stellar port comparison video was I able to bite the buster sword.

    Tabletop role-playing general chat

I have two games of D&D 5e a week, one where I play, and one where i DM, as well as play in a Shadowrun 5e game. My true rare treat though is when I get to run Call of Cthulhu 7e for my friends. It's now a halloween tradition for D&D to pause for october as I run the party through some horror.

    Dungeons and Dragons

I'd also look into Tabletop Simulator. It usually runs about 20 bucks on steam, but it goes down to 7ish sometimes. I swear by it for D&D because it actually has some of the tactile fun of playing with dice and miniatures, albeit in a digital space. It also doubles as pretty much most board...

    Civ 6, Civ 5, Civ 4. FIGHT!

I got into Civ at 4, and dumped a couple hundred hours in, but I think I put the most time into 5. I really liked the religious battles of 6 though, but I sucked rocks at dealing with it.

    Do MMORPGs go here?

I dunno about MMOs being dead, Final Fantasy 14 is doing gangbusters ever since its most recent expansion.

    Introduce yourself here!

Yo! I'm Colin. I've been reading PCG for most of my time on the internet. I don't tend towards any particular genre, but if your game has really fun ragdoll physics, i'm 100x more likely to check it out. I've spent a ton of time in Gmod, mainly having been introduced to it by Concerned back in...
