Today it is Christmas Eve here in Norway, and for some of you in a day or two, so I wanted to wish you all a happy and relaxing Christmas with good food and maybe a Christmas movie or two.
I'm celebrating with family in a few hours and we will eat Christmas pork belly and god knows what else...
I believe it was the Insurgency gamemode, since I do remember it being much more fast paced and with NPCs you could farm for credits also. Come to think of it, you could not trade weapons, you only found weapons from other players, loot or NPCs.
Did you ever play the ARMA 3 BR mode from Player...
Speaking of TV @neogunhero , I have this old Sharp 40 Inch TV and by some miracle I can play Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom on it without it actually feeling like it is 30 FPS. The game is in 30 FPS; but when I play it on the TV it feels super smooth, little to no screen tearing and I find it a...
Might just have to check it out also. I played Takistan through an Arma 3 mod, but it was much easier by the sound of it, since we had a shop for buying guns and such and you got starter credits to get you going. It was more about getting kills than anything else. I have also tried some Arma 3...
Funny that I mentioned Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night in the post earlier and now I see that it is free on Epic Games thanks to @Pifanjr:) - https://forums.pcgamer.com/threads/the-free-time-limited-games-list.2301/post-422030
AFK skilling in Runescape 3. Especially at events like Christmas or Double XP. I like fishing the most, because you just throw the line in a school of fish and then you get xp, fish and maybe a lucky drop. Super chill and you'll always see that xp bar go up, even if it goes very, very slow when...
Come to think of it, the early Assassin's Creed games did the climbing quite well. From what I remember the only real visual clues were stuff like a hay for knowing where to jump, though most large buildings had something like that scattered nearby.
In the older ones you could climb just about...
I managed to get to Act 4 in Path of Exile 2 HCSSF (Hardcore Solo Self Found) and now I am a bit scared. I'm going into this completely blind, so that basically means that if I don't learn the boss mechanics fast, I'll be deader than dead and I'm not bragging to be a fast learner by any shape or...
The Far Cry 4 buzzer is still amazing to fly, but I'd also like to add that the Hooningan Cars in Forza Horizon 4/5 had some of really cool drift capabilities and quite fun to get points (xp) fast with.
I did not have it completely upgraded, but it was fun to use on open landscapes, but as for...
Metro Exodus on Stalker difficulty I thought did it quite well. I belive you had a marker on the map as to where approximately to go for quest related objects, but that was about it. As for using items or finding them, you had to use your eyes, which also made it a bit more fun to explore and...
I'm fine with a bit of guidance in games with more complex mechanics, something like Mirror's Edge as an example, but I find it kind of stupid to have it in games like Far Cry and similar easy to understand games. These type of visual clues kind of makes me think that developers look at us...
