I would say service dogs though are an exception to most that train pets. In those circumstances you can't afford to have an animal that's more concerned about whether they get a treat than the threat or emergency that needs attention. You would also expect people whom train service dogs to use...

Multi monitor gaming as mentioned is expensive in display cost and the GPU it takes to drive that many pixels. Also, now a days there are some excellent Ultrawide curved OLED displays that have kind of taken over that space, like the Samsung Odyssey. Aside from that, less work for developers, as...

The trick most legit trainers teach the owners is just positive reinforcement. Better to give the pet a congrats hug, there's no addiction or withdrawls with that. I would ask first if a trainer uses treats and insist they don't, after all it's your money, your pet.

I'm always suspect of the pet treat business. It just seems they put something in those more for taste than nutrition so people will keep buying them. It's all a trap though because that just causes your pet to go all the crazier and keep bugging you.

Well, anyone who's ever owned a cat knows they feel they always have to be the center of attention in the house. :ROFLMAO: I adopted a stray kitten once after my friend urged me to take care of the poor thing. It bonded with me right away, it would climb up me as if I was a tree, only to perch...

Yeah it was such a prevalent thing many started using the BlazeCut fire suppression device for the engine compartment. IMO all this demonstration proves is you're far better off with preventative maintenance. It takes a little while for enough heat to build up to trigger them, and a fair bit...

Easy to tinker on too, but you have to know their limitations and do your due diligence with preventative maintenance. One of the biggest flaws in the design of the older 70s VW bus was the fuel lines were right above the magneto, plus the engine block was magnesium. We had a young couple stop...

I've always pined for a VW Westfalia 4x4 camper van, but damn they're expensive. One of my mt biking buds had a VW Eurovan. It was a nice camper van, but low to the ground. It got a bit dicey driving it on some of the forestry roads we had to drive to some rides. Dang was his kitchen in that van...

Do you ever see cougars where you go camping? As far as I know, Colorado has some. I ask because I was mt biking solo once in Eastern Wa and I saw some rangers at the turn around point after a climb up a forestry road and they asked if I saw the cougar on a ridge above the road where I was. They...

An example of this I encountered was meeting a very nice homeless Marine vet, who was sitting on a park bench in an old part of the town I live in. He was sketching the stone buildings in the neighborhood with a speedball pen on 8 1/2" x 11" typing paper, and they looked very well done. He said...

Make sure you see a dermatologist instead of a GP. I had a red spot on one of my big toes once. I was worried it might be infected due to an off smell. The Dermatologist looked at it and immediately knew it was Dyshidrosis (by the smell), a rare form of eczema that can be blisters or red...

As long as they don't put mineral oil in those, cuz it would make for quite a mess! :ROFLMAO:

I've noticed they now call pretty much any PC case with glass that wraps around one corner a "fish tank" case, but here's an aquarium PC that is completely submerged in mineral oil. Too bad we can't have actual fish tank PCs, and then maybe someday we could train some Sucker Fish fish to clean...

Yeah I know certain parts of Colorado, mostly it's SE part I think, have a lot of desert-like clime. In those places, yeah, it's like being in Arizona. Except for sun damage it's easy on cars, which is why you see a lot of car collectors in places like that, and people that go there from all...

Yeah, probably becasue even though you live in pretty much THE most mountainous state in the US, you don't go to them much. Fun fact, the lowest elevation in Colorado is higher than our most driven pass in Wa State on I-90, Snoqualmie.
