    Why do my monitors keep going black and losing signal from the DP??

    From a hardware perspective, it is highly recommended to double-check starting from the simplest thing first, which is the condition of the DP cable that you are using. Usually, a damaged cable or perhaps a loose port is the cause of why the image cannot reach the monitor properly.
