Quake 3 Arena in modern times ;)

Your post really resonated with me as I was way more into UT back in the day. Playing both now, I think Q3 held up better in terms of pure gameplay. The pure deathmatch experience of Q3 is just hard to match still.

    Best-of-the-Best VR games

Horror is really crazy in VR. You really feel threatened. Played through Alien Isolation way back on my DK2 with the native support. Amazing experience.

    Best-of-the-Best VR games

The demo fully sold me on it. They seem to make good use of the limited Move controllers. I could point you to a few more than 2 worthwhile PSVR exclusives, most not even requiring Moves, but I get that I'm a rare case of VR nut who just needed a both a PCVR headset and PSVR.

    Roller Champions

Never played the C64 game you refer to, but I played Roller Champions. It felt great to play and looking at the vid above, I think you might like it.

    VR corner

There is quite a lot of activity on the Oculus subreddit and I see quite a lot of people posting their stuff: reddit.com/r/oculus

Lone Echo 2 - do we have a specific date?

Loved the first to bits, the movement and the atmosphere are just outstanding. I used stick movement in HL Alyx, but it is just far less immersive than Lone Echos movement.

Lone Echo 2 - do we have a specific date?

It was pushed back a while ago: https://www.roadtovr.com/lone-echo-2-release-date-further-delayed/ Still easily my most anticipated VR game.

Question What RPG did you FINALLY find time to play?

I guess a lot of us finally has the time to tackle some classics... Went for Final Fantasy X myself and I'm having a surprisingly good time with it.

    F.E.A.R. Series

I agree fully agree with your opinions on the series StingingVelvet. The original F.E.A.R. has a special place in my heart as it was one of my most anticipated games in a long time and I kept rewatching the long gameplay video that was released way ahead of release. I had the luck of having a...

    Question Low System Requirements FPS

I would also recommend to play some classics which hold up, such as (purely in my opinion): - Return to Castle Wolfenstein - Blood - Half Life 1 and 2 (if that runs, I suspect it should) - Call of Duty 1 - No One Lives Forever - Red Faction + every game that OsaX Nymloth recommended.

    Best-of-the-Best VR games

Valve tried that, but they realized that the Portal games rely on momentum a lot, This wasn't a good fit for VR. Then again, we already have Portal Stories, which is in VR but is very limited: https://store.steampowered.com/app/446750/Portal_Stories_VR/

    VR corner

Tetris Effect is very neat, but I find it slightly overrated. Easy recommendation still if you like Tetris, it's quite a trip.

    Best-of-the-Best VR games

Nice to not be the only VR advocate around here ;). Great picks so far, I'll add my "must play" PCVR games that have not been mentioned yet: -Asgard's Wrath: a full RPG that makes great use of VR with surprisingly fun combat. -Beat Saber: a 5 second GIF is enough to sell the idea. -Dirt Rally...

Weekend Question: what is your favorite vehicle in a videogame?

The Mako of course! Kidding, it's probably the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9, I tend to gravitate towards that car for its handling in every racing game that features it.
