I'm quite a fan of retro video games. Ofc, I like eye-candy graphics but I also find joy in the simplicity of old-school mechanics. So if you tell me about the last game that came out with Raytracing and a ton of fancy graphical effects, you're probably going to find me lost. What I would like to see is a growing tendency for companies to remaster old games with their core mechanics untouched but with much more polished graphics, although if they are going to fill them with lot's of microtransactions i would prefer to keep playing the classic versions.
