I'm sure a skilled person could build speakers that are very very good for much cheaper than you can buy something similar for. I don't know anyone that does it. I'm sure I could if I tried. Eventually. But after buying all the tools and materials and failing 4 or 5 times it's cheaper to just...

You can get a pretty good used car for that here in the US. Once you add a few more thousand for an amp and DAC worthy of driving them you can get a nice used car. I'd pay $5000 for speakers. I almost did recently but I ended up getting much cheaper Kef Q350s and an SVS SB1000 sub instead. I...

Lol. These are the good ones: https://www.audeze.com/products/lcd-5 You'd want to pair them with a similarly priced headphone amp and DAC. WAY out of my price range.

One person was buying a gaming headset for his daughter. He's not the OP of the thread though. Again with a 'gaming' headset most aren't tuned correctly for music even if they have capable drivers. Audeze makes some of the best headphones in the world with their higher end units and were one of...

This is a marketing term used for a speaker with a neutral tuning. It's incredibly vague and there's nothing that holds someone using that for their speakers to any standard. Real studio speakers are generally not desired for audiophile use although many real audiophile speakers are mostly...

Oh you don't need Monoprice stands. I got them because they were the cheapest of the 'good' stands that I could find. I think they were about $100 each. They will work fine on a desk and yes I'd use isolation pads so they don't create resonance or rattle. Break out a tape measure and see if...

Well that video actually uses both mics so your hearing is all you need. It's not subjective or an opinion. And the user reviews that I saw are pretty unanimous that the Maxwell is better. Your money though. I was just trying to help.

Aune to PC via USB. Wiim to Yamaha via RCA. How are the Aune and Wiim connected now?

They're both about $350 from what I see on Amazon. I've never used either but every review I see shows the Audeze better across the board. Especially the mic being mentioned as better...

Kef and Yamaha both seem to be priced the same there as here accounting for exchange rates.

Speakers and amp. Add a sub later if you even feel like you need to. I waited almost a year to add a sub to my Q350s. They have surprisingly good bass. https://www.selby.com.au/brands/yamaha/yamaha-a-s501-2-channel-hi-fi-amplifier-2x85w-black-as501b2.html That or the A-S701 for an amp. I've...

Audeze Maxwell is roughly the same price and is better in pretty much every metric including comfort.

Yeah I really don't care. I can see them now. Earlier they looked broken. Good powered monitors will blow your mind vs those Logitechs. And most good speakers sound really good at lower volumes so you wouldn't have to have mom listening to Slayer. lol You'd get a different sub obviously.

Why do the CPU-Z links keep breaking here? I don't remember that happening on Future sites before.

Speakers. Upgrade something you use daily vs sometimes.
