    Have Gamers become Junkies?

I think it's a lot more common to become reliant on the escapism that video games bring rather than to be addicted to the games themselves.

Have you had any side effects from games.

:tearsofjoy: I have a small callous on my right wrist from using a mouse and leaning on my desk for years.

Have you had any side effects from games.

As I work on a computer and my hobby is gaming I spend a lot of time in front of a screen. I often get eye ache but I do have anti glare VDU glasses, I just have to remember to use them. Also I played Skyrim in VR and it was my first experience moving in VR where my brain felt a disconnect...

Do you prefer long-term, continuous development or games that have been essentially finalized?

I honestly like both. I would say I prefer the idea of a complete single player game but I play more live service games so there must be some benefit to them.

    Most intensive PC resource Game

I remember Ashes of the Singularity being hugely resource intensive. I don't know whether it still is.

What's the first PC game you remember playing?

I played Gobliiins on my friend's Atari and every time you walked off the screen you had to insert another floppy and it would take 2 minutes.

What's the first PC game you remember playing?

We had some 5.25" floppy disks at school. I definitely lived through the 3.5" era. But most of my memories are CD ROM. I think the vast majority of demo disks were CD ROM as well. I didn't really like video game graphics until PS1 / Voodoo released.

What's the first PC game you remember playing?

My Dad bought our first PC in '92 which I think was a 486 SX/25. I had already been console gaming since '89 with Gameboy and Sega Megadrive. I was born in '83 so started gaming from the age of 6. One of the first PC games I remember playing was a demo of Hocus Pocus, a wizarding platformer...

April Fools from your favorite devs./games/creators etc.

I generally find April Fools annoying but this one made me chuckle a little: View: https://imgur.com/a/kUYyIUD

One morning you wake up, (Spoilers to the beginning of Judas ahead)

I think if I was happy with my life prior to being told this, it wouldn't change too much. If I could be happy being a robot it would be fine and I could live a long time as you said.

Which game launcher are you only using because you have to?

The one I actually use and have to put up with is the Battle.net launcher. I also have EA, Ubisoft, Epic, Rockstar, and Xbox which rarely get used. Steam would be best for all, but c'est la vie.

Steam Points: Know what this is? Ever use it? How many do you have?

I have just under 156k points. Most of that came from buying a couple of Steam Decks (which I later sold).

Looking for a very rare test demo version of the game TheSting\DerClou!2 (2001)

I don't know the legitimacy of these websites, but is it either of these? https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=651 https://games.softpedia.com/get/Games-Demo/The-Sting.shtml These were the only 2 links that came up on a Google search.

Do you hate the "yellow paint on ledges" trick in games or does it have its place?

I don't hate the yellow paint but I do miss the old style games where exploring and working things out was a large part of the game. I guess that's why I liked Breath of the Wild so much. I think there's room for both approaches.
