I did this with Ghost Recon Wildlands because certain areas had certain weapons that would unlock in those areas so i would push through...

Yeah, I'm the same! I try to 100% an area (or as much as I can) before moving on. I don't like leaving things unfinished.

Not much, but If the EULA tries something shady, I'll punch it in the face and that will be it..and my computer screen will be broken.

Less than I expected, around $4,700 which ends up being just over $400 annually for my tenure on Steam. Steam sales are great.

At least you have something to show for it, and it keeps you happy/occupied. In the last 20 years I have possibly met that cost with PC...
